The Queen City United Soccer Club was established during the indoor season of 1987-88 in Regina, Saskatchewan. The club was the culmination of two teams; the Regina Spurs and the Regina Steelers. The club colours were a combination of both teams - the Kelly Green of the Spurs was used for the jerseys and the Black of the Steelers became the accent colour. This colour combination stayed in place until 2006 when the club moved to Forest Green and white. The logo of the club was also changed at this time.
Presently the club operates in Regina, Saskatchewan and has approximately 750 athletes who range in age from 18 months to 18 years old. The club provides programming for male and females of all levels and aspirations. One of our proudest field accomplishments is the silver medal won by the QC Vikings at Canadian National Club Competition in 1997. Since then the Club has sent multiple teams to this competition and has been a catalyst for many players pursuing post-secondary soccer opportunities across North America.
Off the field the club strives to provide players the environment in which they can reach their individual potential. The Club's mantra is: Commitment to Compete, Attitude to Achieve and Passion to Play, which sums up our vision for the future. QC is proud of our history as the oldest active youth soccer club in Regina.
