Hour-A-Thon Fundraiser - May 10th - 6-7pm

The Hour-A-Thon will take place on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 6:00-7:00pm at the QC Facility. The concept of the Hour-A-Thon is simple. Each child spends a few minutes collecting the cell phone numbers of 20-25 of their biggest supporters and adds them to the Call 20 Sheet. Then, during the Hour-A-Thon, they'll send each supporter a personalized text with the donation link. They'll follow up with a phone call to explain why they're fundraising, and the supporters can decide if and how much they want to donate.

Please note that phone numbers are only used for fundraising and will not be entered anywhere except on the child's cell phone. There are no emails to collect, and no constant bombarding of emails going out to your friends and family for weeks. It's just one hour of personalized texts and phone calls.

We encourage all members and their families to get involved. We'll supply hot dogs/burgers, popcorn, drinks, and cotton candy to all players in attendance. These items will be provided at no cost to the participants.  Additionally, we'll be offering prizes throughout the Hour-A-Thon to the player(s) that raise the most and the teams/age group that raise the most.

It will also be a great opportunity for our youngest soccer stars to interact with our oldest members. Every donation will be projected on a big screen so you can see our progress as the hour progresses.

Funds raised from the Hour-A-Thon will go directly toward enhancing the club's equipment and investing in coach education and development to nurture the talent within our club.
